WOT in a bass boat at night - jumps dock

Post by FasterThanYou »

We weren't out a Woodson Bend this weekend but a friend of ours that was told me a bass boat came flying through the no wake zone inside our wave attenuator and on the inside of the docks next to the shore. He hit the cat walk, flew over it and just kept on going. We have video cameras all over the dock and caught it all. Plus, there were people on the dock at the time. No one was hurt on the dock but we have no idea about the people in the boat.

We have lights on the attenuator and very large lights all over the dock. This baffles me. :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\

There's not that much room in between the dock and shore

I have heard of alot of boat wrecks this summer.... :(

At Monroe Res. (bloomington) this summer a go fast ran over a bass boat with Grandma, Grandpa, and two young grandsons. Killed the Grandma and the youngest grandson (5?). I just can't comprehend losing your mom & son at the same time....

I agree, it would be difficult to think there were no injuries. Maybe alone & drinking and afraid to report it... /:)

Bass boats can get airborne in a heartbeat (knowledge from experience).
Even a broken clock is right twice a day ;)

We haven't been down yet but I was hoping they landed on our boat since it's very close to the cat walk. UPGRADE!!

Marina/Ramp: Currently mostly out of Jamestown but spend a lot of time at the other Marinas.

Pre2012-Conley Bottom Mostly, Waitsboro, Alligator I&II ramps, Leesford, Pulaski County Park (when it has water), Grider, State Dock (via boat), and Jamestown are a few places you might find me.
